What We Do

Programs & Advocacy

Coalition Building

We believe that no one organization has all of the answers. That is why we build and work within coalitions consisting of mass atrocity prevention scholars and practitioners from around the world.

Teacher Training

Educators are pivotal in promoting awareness, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing respect for human rights. We work alongside educators to ensure they are equipped to provide the best and most current curricula for their students.

Government Affairs & Advocacy

Every member of the Crane Center is an advocate for human rights. With work ranging from grassroots organizing to drafting legislation, our team has successfully partnered on human rights legislation, resolutions, and determinations.

Risk Assessment

Using refined versions of risk assessment methods that have been developed over the last 80 years, we are able to accurately and reliably identify at-risk communities and begin working before mass violence begins.

Our Impact

As a young organization, we bring a fresh perspective and a deep sense of collaboration to the work of mass atrocity prevention.

Our work has benefited at-risk communities and engaged human rights workers across 35 countries.

Between the communities we serve and our numerous partners around the world, we have connected with over 200,000 people through our work.

Our work has brought more than 40 organizations together in on-the-ground initiatives and global advocacy efforts.
